Hey everyone! I am excited to get back into blogging this year, and this summer I will have a partner for The Book Bratz’s Summer Blogger Promo Tour! I will be joined every other Sunday by Arianna from Bookish Banter.

Her link is I am so excited to get back into the swing of things on this blog as I am new to blogging and usually you can find me writing articles over on theodysseyonline.( )  Last week was the kickoff of this tour, so for last week’s post head over to Arianna’s blog to see what we did for her blog!

This week we decided to create two of our own subscription boxes taking inspiration from other boxes we know of or are subscribed to! We did one book box and one fandom box. These are both fictional, along with the contents of the boxes, but we would love to know what you think of them!

For our book box, we took inspiration from OwlCrate, FairyLoot, and NOVL to design our ideal book subscription box and subscription box company! We decided we would name it: Karianna Reads Book Subscription Box! (See what we did there? HAHA! We crack ourselves up!) Here are the contents of that box:

An ARC (Advanced Reader’s Copy) of Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzie Lee

A Hardcover Book of Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson

A Candle with a Book-Shop Scent

A BookPlate Signed by Mary E. Pearson

A Playlist on A Paper Inspired by the fantasy genre! This would ideally be similar to Morgan Matson’s books!

A Collectible Card. Similar to OwlCrate, we would have a card that tells you everything in the box and the theming of the card would go with the theme of the box!

A Pencil Pouch. A Fantasy themed pouch, so something inspired by other fantasy novels!

Stickers and an Art Print Inspired by the books in this box!

NO CONFETTI CONFETTI IS THE DEVIL, so instead, we would have a tapestry inspired by the fantasy genre at the bottom of the box! Also, something similar to the confetti crap, only all stuck together so it does not get all over your room, but keeps the contents of the box safe when shipping out!

Magnet! Who doesn’t need more magnets?! You can use it for adult things on your fridge or put it on your car! We would make them collectible, similar to the Disney World Annual Passholder Magnet!

For the Fandom Box, we took inspiration from Nerdy Post and created our own 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and Disney Box! We decided to incorporate two fandoms we love! I move to Orlando to complete my Disney College Program this fall, so we decided that incorporating both the Wizarding World and Disney would be a cool idea! The contents of the fandom box would be as follows:

Harry Potter Book Sleeve

A Cosplay DIY Guide. How to Cosplay as Luna or Snape from Harry Potter! How to Cosplay as Woody from Toy Story and Anna from Frozen!

Tote Bag with a Harry Potter Quote.

A pair of Toy Story Socks and Harry Potter Socks. (Since Toy Story Land just opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Disney World, we thought we would take advantage of the hype and include some Toy Story items!)

Disney Tumbler Cup

Mystery Funko Pop (This would be either a Disney funko pop or a Harry Potter Funko Pop to go along with the theme of the box, but each box would have a collectible mystery funko pop!)

Mystery Pin/Button Box

DIY Tie Blanket with Harry Potter and Disney Fabric!

Harry Potter Laptop Case

2 T-shirts: One Harry Potter T-shirt, One Toy Story Shirt

Coupon code for BoxLunch, or an Etsy shop
